Hello there,

Outside of my coaching practice, I have worked in production for almost 30 years across television production, advertising and large-scale special events such as the AFI Awards (AACTA) and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

In television production we are always searching for the perfect light.

​

Light to help tell a story or set a scene. A magical sunrise or the flattering warm glow of golden hour. Whatever the light, there is always beauty in it. Light is never static, it is constantly breathing, changing, moving and evolving, just like you.

​

I love the light, watching it dance on my bedroom wall in the morning, observing its change as we move through the seasons is one of my favourite things, coupled with the quiet beauty of watching the last fading rays at sunset. I was inspired to call my coaching business Light St. Coaching as an invitation to my clients to make the time for their own pause, to take the time to gently observe, turn inward to explore and reconnect with their light within.

Like many of you working in challenging and at times all consuming careers, I have enjoyed wonderful career highlights, the camaraderie of being part of a tight knit team, creative fulfilment and deep pride for many of the projects achieved.

​

Perhaps less often spoken of, I have also experienced at times job overwhelm, burnout, autoimmune complications and a deep uncertainty and loss over time of confidence with my own creative voice, and a desire to explore this for myself, anew outside of my work.

​

In my television work, I see over 200 hours of lifestyle television being made and getting to air domestically each year. It's incredibly satisfying and rewarding.

​

Outside of this space, I find it is important for me to nuture my creativity further and in different ways. For me personally this looks like growing, tending and experimenting in a garden, sometimes with wonderful results, sometimes utter failure! Taking and sharing photos, cooking with a sense of experimentation and love, listening to music and dancing in the kitchen.  And, being the natural planner that I am, I have a list of new projects to try and stretch myself with. One is a painting project for this coming summer followed by a knitting project for next winter. Both designed to keep my hands busy, quiet my mind and give me a sense of achievement.

The values I live by and bring to my coaching work are, Beauty, Connection, Creativity, Giving & Joy.

Working with clients one on one, I see it as a privilege to meet each client where they are at and work together with them to support, nurture and empower them to reconnect with their creative spirit and discover deeper fulfillment for themselves across various aspects of their lives.

My coaching aims to help clients move beyond a career centred identity to embrace their whole self, unlocking the joy and purpose that comes from living creatively, however that looks for them.
